Midterm // Final Meeting - Weimar

A héten Weimarba utaztunk Natasával és Ofeliával a második, évközi önkéntes szemináriumra.
We travelled to Weimar with Natasa and Ofelia this week to participate in our EVS Midterm Seminar.

Sokat tanultunk, beszélgettünk és kirándultunk a 18 európai országból érkezett résztvevővel. Megnéztük Weimar nevezetességeit (Bauhaus Múzeum, könyvtár, Goethe kerti háza, Schiller háza). Átvonatoztunk Jenába is, és a buchenwaldi koncentrációs tábor sem maradt ki a programból.

We have learnt a lot, did some excursions, trips (Buchenwald, Jena) and saw the sights of Weimar.

Mivel munkát kaptam Budapesten márciusi kezdéssel, ezért számomra ez volt az EVS-es időszak zárása. Nagyon jól éreztem magam, sokat tanultam, világot láttam, kirándultam, megismertem kedves embereket, akik közel állnak a szívemhez. De az óvodai munka nem nekem való...  Hiányozni fog Lipcse, a terek, az üzletek és persze a kedves ismerősök, de rájöttem, hogy az nagyon sokat számít, hogy szeresse az ember, amit csinál és ne érezze egyedül magát.

I have got a job in a museum in Budapest, that's why it was the final, not the midterm seminar for me. I felt really good, I got to know nice people and managed to see old friends again. Everything was perfect except my job in the kindergarten. It's just not created for me, more than a half of a year was enough to get to know how to handle kids. Now something else is waiting for me. I was always telling to people that I would like to work in a museum in the capital of Hungary and it happend. Dare to dream big!

I will miss Leipzig, the nice people who are close to my heart, the city, the streets, the shops, the nice bulidings. But it will be good to get the 'I am at home feeling' again.
